In Matthew 19:14 Jesus says, ““Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.” At Selma, we believe that our kids are a wonderful blessing and that they truly are the future of our church. Our Selma Kids Ministry provides a fun and safe environment for our little ones to have a great time as they grow in their faith learn about Jesus. We offer a variety of exciting activities for kids throughout the year including Egg Hunts, Movie Nights, Pajama Parties, Vacation Bible School, Kids Connect, and Kids Church on Sunday mornings during the worship hour. We want our Kids Ministry to be an engaging place for our children to grow in their relationship with Christ.

This week's lesson the kids learned that God is real! Just like He spoke to Moses through the burning bush, God still reveals Himself to us today. They discovered that God has a special purpose for each of us and that we can trust Him to give us courage and strength to do what He calls us to do.

The Story of Nicodemus

If you weren’t able to join us last week in Children’s Ministry, we learned about Nicodemus and Jesus from John 3:1–21.
Nicodemus, a religious leader, came to Jesus at night with many questions. Jesus told him that in order to see the Kingdom of God, a person must be “born again.” At first, Nicodemus didn’t understand, but Jesus explained that this new life comes through believing in Him.
The heart of the lesson was John 3:16:
💡 Main Point: Jesus gives us new life when we believe in Him!
