Outreach Day

No matter your gifting and personality, there is a special place for you to reach out to those in our community and church. For first-time participants, you will find this such an enjoyable part of being at Selma! Various ministries you can take part in are hospital visits, Laundry Love ministry, letter and card writing and meeting those in our neighborhood. Signup sheet is in the church foyer.

Wired 2026

WIRED is about uniting our community to serve those who are in need while growing our relationship with God through Bible study and worshiping together as the body of Christ. Every year student ministries from local churches, dozens of non-profits and ministries, and government agencies unite together to serve those in our community that are in need. Sign up by March 1.

Custom-made cards by Mrs. Jo Branda are now available in the Sanctuary Foyer and Sunday School Hallways. All donations given for the cards go directly to support our missionary partners around the world.

Trunk or Treat

Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00 PM! 🍬

Join us for an evening of fun, fellowship, and sweet treats at our annual Trunk or Treat! Families are invited to walk through a parking lot full of decorated trunks and collect candy in a safe and friendly environment.
✨ Details:
  • When: Wednesday, October 29th, 6:00PM
  • Where: Selma Baptist Church 
  • Candy will be provided!
  • Please keep decorations and costumes fun and family-friendly (nothing scary).
🙌 We need your help! Decorate your trunk, donate candy, or volunteer to make this event a success for our kids and community. This is a wonderful opportunity to show the love of Christ through joy, creativity, and hospitality.

Pastor Appreciation Luncheon

Let’s come together to honor our faithful shepherds! Join us for a Churchwide Covered Dish Luncheon on Sunday, October 26th, following morning services in the Family Life Center.
The church will provide fried chicken, rolls, and tea. Please bring sides or desserts and sign up in the foyer with what you plan to bring.
